> For those of you who have signed up to help clean the St. Marys
> Riverfront, I look forward to meeting you at 8:30 Saturday morning
> at the waterfront boat launch area (to the left of the waterfront
> park). If you have gardening or dishwashing gloves, please bring
> those. We have some thinner gloves to give out (about 50). Also,
> don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, bug repellent, water, and
> anything that would help facilitate the cleanup (such as nets and
> trash sticks). The post clean-up party will take place starting
> around 11:30 at White Oak Plantation. PLEASE BRING A PEN WITH YOU
> to fill out the trash form which you'll need to get your t-shirt at
> White Oak. Also, lunch will be served at White Oak. I will give you
> a pass and directions to White Oak at the boat launch. (But I've
> also included directions below for those who like to plan ahead.)
> If you've never been to White Oak Plantation, this is a rare and
> treasured treat. Go to www.wocenter.org to see what it's all about.
> Thank you ahead of time for showing up at 8:30 so we can have a
> group photo made that will appear in St. Marys Magazine. I look
> forward to sharing this great and worthwhile experience with all.
> Here are directions to White Oak:
> I-95 south to exit 380 (Hwy 17 exit). Turn right on hwy 17 north
> and go about 2 miles, then turn left onto Owens Farm Road, go one
> mile and turn right onto White Oak Road, drive two miles to the
> White Oak Security Gate for further directions. Of course, if you
> live near Kingsland, it might be easier just to take Hwy 17 all the
> way. The fairly long road into White Oak is dirt and well-
> maintained. See you Saturday. Call if you have any questions or if
> you have not already signed up with me. Barbara Ryan 912-729-1103,
